Sermorelin is the 1-29 N-terminal fragment of human growth hormone-releasing hormone, amidated at the C-terminus. Residues 1-29 are the shortest portion of the 44-residue parent that retains full receptor activity, which is why this fragment rather than the full sequence became the standard reference GHRH peptide.

Storage and handling
