IGF-1 LR3 100MG — Long R3 IGF-1 Analog

IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 IGF-1) is an 83-residue analog of insulin-like growth factor 1: the native 70-residue chain with an arginine substituted for glutamic acid at position 3 and a 13-residue N-terminal extension. Both changes reduce binding to IGF binding proteins.

Storage and handling

• Dry powder: store at −20 °C, sealed, protected from light and moisture.
• Bring the sealed vial to room temperature before opening — lyophilized powder is hygroscopic and draws moisture onto a cold surface.
• After reconstitution: refrigerate at 2-8 °C, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
• A protein-length peptide with disulfide bonds — avoid reducing agents and vigorous agitation, both of which promote misfolding and aggregation.
