IGF-1 DES 100MG — IGF-1 DES(1-3) Analog

IGF-1 DES is a truncated analog of insulin-like growth factor 1, missing the first three N-terminal residues (Gly-Pro-Glu) of the 70-residue parent, which leaves a 67-residue chain. Removing that tripeptide is what reduces its binding to IGF binding proteins, and that is the property it is studied for.

• Dry powder: store at −20 °C, sealed, protected from light and moisture.
• Bring the sealed vial to room temperature before opening — lyophilized powder is hygroscopic and draws moisture onto a cold surface.
• After reconstitution: refrigerate at 2-8 °C, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
• A protein-length peptide with disulfide bonds — avoid reducing agents and vigorous agitation, both of which promote misfolding and aggregation.
