Storage and handling
- Dry powder: store at −20 °C, sealed, protected from light and moisture.
- Bring the sealed vial to room temperature before opening. The powder is hygroscopic and will draw moisture onto a cold surface.
- After reconstitution: refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
- Avoid strong reducing agents and chelators such as EDTA, which strip copper from the peptide.
What you need to reconstitute it
Lyophilized powder has to be brought into solution before use. Bacteriostatic Water 20 mL is the standard solvent and is sold separately — step-by-step procedure in the reconstitution guide.
Documentation
Every batch is third-party tested: HPLC for chromatographic purity, mass spectrometry for identity. If you are new to reading batch documents, see how to read a COA, what 99% purity means, and the full GHK-Cu chemistry reference.
